The legendary British Volks Fest (BVF) in the Malvern Hills, rain or shine it’s always a riot of a weekend.

Despite waiting at the gates for over an hour (yes we’re that eager!) while security where still setting up the show ground, the usual chilled BVF atmosphere soon chilled everyone out. That’s the main attraction at BVF, with a solid 50/50 mix of air and water it’s much more of a festival than the likes of GTi Inters or Santa Pod events. But don’t let the laid back approach fool you into thinking the Show n Shine crew are just as relaxed, the BVF concours judges are the stringent we’ve come across over all the years events. Make sure all those centre caps are level!

Amongst the impressive array of air and water metal, the buses stand out from the crowd every time. This years beauties came in the form of a mental V8 powered completely slammed yellow splitty on air ride and a blacked out Viper V10 engined crew cab deluxe. You could smell the sweat rolling down the purists side burns! I didn’t manage to snap the Viper crew cab in it’s entirety being constantly surrounded by people, you’ll have to make do with an engine shot for now.

I know what your thinking, and no these shots aren’t from 1970, I fancied a change and went for an old skool style desaturated look. It kind of suits the flower power atmosphere of BVF I think.

Until next year folks, peace out man!
