City Status
Since the first meet at our city central venue, things have gone from strength to strength for the NewportEdition Crew. All our major players are already extremely busy sorting things out for the 2010 show season>>.
If, and I quote Tom Bell you want to be part of “The Biggest VAG club in the whole of er.....Newport” then get yourselves down to Rodney Parade on the first Sunday of every month @ 7pm.
You’ll find a very chilled atmosphere and loads of friendly (some scary) faces for help, advice or just a chat. We’ve got some excellent cars on show, from Old skool to Euro cool and not to forget ongoing projects like W3LSH’s smoothed MKII and Tom’s ever changing “Brown Love”.
Rodney Parade, the home of the Newport Gwent Dragons>> now has loads of parking and an awesome backdrop for photos. The bar is open exclusively for NewportEdition passengers with TV’s too, should Top Gear be on. There’s also a good selection of eateries just around the corner, what more could you want!
Even through the dark winter meets we are seeing 30 cars plus and with NewportEdition attending all the major shows this summer it’s going to be big. With a few Sunday runs and hopefully a few BBQ’s, this year will hopefully bring us all back together. One thing you are guaranteed is a real good laugh.. just check out the gallery >>
