Cardiff SoWal crew meet
For a bit of a change and to mix in with some fellow dubbers, the NewportEdition Gang decided to pop down to Cardiff to meet some of the So-Wal crew last Sunday.
A few of us met at Newport first before cruising down to Coryton to meet the rest of the clarts (they could probs hear Rich’s car in Cardiff when we left the Port). When we left Cardiff, I was amazed at how many people turned up, 19 cars in total (Even taylor made a show).
The So-Wal meets are held on the last Sunday of the month at the Ffynnon Wen pub, just at the base of Caerphilly mountain and what an awesome place it is for meet. Nice pub, food looked good and a nice big car park, just as well too as all 19 of us turned up in convoy and decended on the Gardeners World convention in the car park.
The weather was tops, a couple of Shandy’s were consumed, Capitol VW turned up with their parts department car boot style and it was good to meet some new faces and see how other meets turn out.
