NikeID Edition Treads8

Seeing as the new 2011 gear was going down so well, we got on to our good freinds over at Nike ID to hook us up with some equally fresh treads.

Sporting the classic NE lime green and storm grey colour scheme, we were well chuffed when the box arrived at the club house, possibly even worth the 6 week wait. Equally epic was the around the world trip they took to get here!

Manufactured in a Chinese sweat shop they first flew to Koeln in Germany so Hans could check the colour match. For some unknown reason they flew back to China, Shenzhen and then on to Thailand for some pad thai style treatment of some kind. After several hours of ‘special’ thai massage at no extra cost they decided to take a detour to Mumbai in India for a vindaloo no doubt, before a further flight to Dubai.

But it doesn’t end there! From Dubai they flew back to Koeln in Germany for a few days of sausage love before the final leg of their journey over the channel to Donnington. They finally arrived at our doorstep in the Port after yet another short stay in Gloucester for a quick taste of double cheese action. Luckily we were in when DHL knocked on the door, otherwise they would have been sent to the nearest depot over in Swansea. Now that would really be taking the preverbal.

So they’ve covered more miles ‘in the box’ than they ever will actually on ones feet, the world has gone mad. I don’t know about AirMiles but they’ll surely be racking up the ‘scene’ vouchers at this years shows.
